Take's Boardshort - Gray

Take's Boardshort is a tribute to a piece of Honolulu surf history. Named for a small tailoring shop once located across the street from our Kapahulu store, Take's is where Honolulu surfers had their custom trunks made from the 1960s through the early-1990s. Ours comes from an original custom pair, passed down to us from our pops and uncle, and reinterpreted here with a modern build.

Cut from a crisp 100% nylon with a dry hand, the silhouette nods to Take's 1960s heyday, when details like side-seam piping and coconut buttons were both functional and expressive. Finished with additional details like a front pocket with key string that's sized to fit your phone, plus a Lauaʻe felt patch alongside our Diamond Head logo at the left thigh.
