About
Salvage Public is a Hawaiian sportswear brand based in Honolulu, Hawai‘i and is the creation of Joseph Serrao, Nāpali Souza, and Noah Serrao. Our brand celebrates and influences Hawaiian culture, history, and style. Growing up in Hawaiʻi we were surrounded by a rich culture of people, food, surfing, songs, and fashion, all of which continues to inspire us. In our details is an attentiveness to Honolulu’s connection to the wider world, to a city where people are forever coming and going as they crisscross the Pacific.
Since starting the brand in 2013, we've had stockists throughout LA, New York, London, and Paris, with our largest following in Japan of 150+ retailers such as Journal Standard, United Arrows, Beams, Isetan, and Safari.
Our flagship store is located off of Kapahulu, a neighborhood on the lower slopes of Diamond Head. An additional retail store is located at South Shore Market in Kakaʻako. Our logo is based on the iconic profile of Diamond Head. We feel it connects our brand to Hawaiʻi in a fresh and modern way and ties us back to where we live, work, and surf. Our homes are in Pālolo, flagship store off Kapahulu, and some of our favorite surf breaks are Cliffs and Makalei (aka Suis or Suicides).
