Palaka, a transliteration from Hawaiian to English of the word, frock, grounds this traditional pattern in its roots in the sugar, pineapple, and coffee plantations of the late 1800s. Despite originally being brought from England to make working garments for those in the plantation fields, this pattern has still managed to become one that is deeply ingrained within the local identity of Hawaiʻi.
Our fits run small. We suggest taking one size up.
